I burn, I pine, I perish! This is by far my most favorite kitchen of all time. It has been my favorite since it’s debut in the Jan/Feb 2006 Kitchen and Bath Ideas Magazine. Kitchen designer Matthew Quinn dreamed up this kitchen for the Atlanta Symphony Associates Decorators’ Show House. See the range hood? That is made of scagolia stone, which happens to match the fireplace in the adjacent family room.

From the same charming city that has historically inspired painters, sculptors and poets! Isn’t it completely understandable that the kitchens born from Brummel are unlike any others? The original Karbon faucet by Kohler can bend and form to reach anywhere you need it, including compact and out of the way. Now Kohler has released the wall mounted articulating Karbon facuet, it still can be manipulated like the first (it pivots in 5 places actually), but has now moved up and really out your epicurial path. It is exteremly apealing with such a modern look, and just think of the ease of use! I never have two hands free in the kitchen so sometimes a pullout faucet just doesn’t cut it. Problem is solved with this beauty. It is never too difficult at all to justify the beauty and preformance of the Karbon.
Kitchen renovations are on the rise and there are endless possibilities when considering what fun finds you may wish to include in your cuisine. Features abound like ten personalized memory capabilities and a steam spout and milk frother. The clean lines of this unit would be very appealing in a urban sleek kitchen, or in the coffee nook in your boudoir- now THAT would be fabulous.
What do you do when you are limited with kitchen space? Move up! More and more kitchens are incorporating fantastic library-style rolling ladders so you can stylishly access upper cabinets tucked above regular uppers. The ladders may be removed in some cases when not in use (depending on the type of hardware mounting chosen).
I am super impressed with the boutique water works streaming out of Kohler these days! With pivoting joints and ultimate flexibility, the Karbon kitchen faucet is an innovative product to say the least. If you have a contemporary style in your home, this would be the perfect faucet for you. The turning joints allow you to position the faucet in any way you wish, even tucked down and out of the way in a compact position if you wish. Another great design by Kohler, but what else would you expect?
