Kitchens are the core of the home, and so it only deems appropriate that you linger there comfortably. Whether it be with family, a friend, or even if it is just yourself with an afternoon tea; a proper place to sit and enjoy only makes sense. This gorgeous white painted kitchen is accented nicely with a harvest wooden table and pale green upholstered Louis XV chairs. What a lovely contrasting compliment and surprising choice from the standard built in island and stools. This kitchen was designed by Suzanne Kasler.
Tired of Stainless, and need something fun for your kitchen? Well if you are into vintage styles, these appliances will float your boat. The retro “Northstar” appliance line from Elmira Stove Works features fifties flare and chrome accents. You can pick a color from the inspired tones like “flamingo pink”, “robin’s egg blue”, “candy red”, or even customize your own color.
The extremely lovely and unique kitchens by Brummel Cucine are custom and handmade in highest quality in Bassano Del Grappa, Italy. From the same charming city that has historically inspired painters, sculptors and poets! Isn’t it completely understandable that the kitchens born from Brummel are unlike any others? The Grand Gourmet R series is divinely black (Laccata 2 Colori). Subtle details like the beading on the island and crown moulding and the rubbed white edges on the raised panels make this kitchen a dramatic stunner! *If you like the black- check out the Maison Classique series, it has a vintage looking kitchen that is super fun (Laccati).
The original Karbon faucet by Kohler can bend and form to reach anywhere you need it, including compact and out of the way. Now Kohler has released the wall mounted articulating Karbon facuet, it still can be manipulated like the first (it pivots in 5 places actually), but has now moved up and really out your epicurial path. It is exteremly apealing with such a modern look, and just think of the ease of use! I never have two hands free in the kitchen so sometimes a pullout faucet just doesn’t cut it. Problem is solved with this beauty. It is never too difficult at all to justify the beauty and preformance of the Karbon.
Kitchen renovations are on the rise and there are endless possibilities when considering what fun finds you may wish to include in your cuisine. Consider an entertainment sink; they are fantastic if you have an island or peninsula large enough to incorporate one of these lovelies. The Luna Sink by Native Trails is more than three feet of prep and serve bliss! The area directly in-front of this stunner is perfect for preparing a salad, or for setting a serving platter of hors d’oeuvres with a plethora of chilled drinks in the sink.
Here is a fantastic way to keep your counter-tops streamlined and appliance free, it will however, require a cabinet as this is a built-in model.
Miele is a well known manufacturer of quality appliances, and the CVA 4080/4085 Coffee System is no exception. Features abound like ten personalized memory capabilities and a steam spout and milk frother. The clean lines of this unit would be very appealing in a urban sleek kitchen, or in the coffee nook in your boudoir- now THAT would be fabulous.
What do you do when you are limited with kitchen space? Move up! More and more kitchens are incorporating fantastic library-style rolling ladders so you can stylishly access upper cabinets tucked above regular uppers. The ladders may be removed in some cases when not in use (depending on the type of hardware mounting chosen).
I am super impressed with the boutique water works streaming out of Kohler these days! With pivoting joints and ultimate flexibility, the Karbon kitchen faucet is an innovative product to say the least. If you have a contemporary style in your home, this would be the perfect faucet for you. The turning joints allow you to position the faucet in any way you wish, even tucked down and out of the way in a compact position if you wish. Another great design by Kohler, but what else would you expect?
I am in awe of the extraordinarily contemporary wine cellar signed by the Porsche Design Studio for Veuve Clicquot. It is described as a modern cabinet of curiosities, a showcase, a treasure chest that is entirely handmade and sheathed in brushed steel. Each of the fifteen Veuve Clicquot Vertical Limit armoires available is unique. What an inspirational design!$100K each (only 15 available)
