I have never been a fussy fuss-fuss when it comes to door hardware, as long as the metals coordinate with the theme of the home, and has a good shape so it blends in nicely. But who said door hardware should always be seen and not heard? The Nouveau Metal Door Lever in Butler Silver finish would be a standout, proclaiming “Style lives here”! I really have a feeling that an Art Nouveau revival is coming back, with a vengeance- a sweet and fantastical vengeance. Sherle Wagner has some fabulous designs and uncompromised, stand alone quality. If the dips and dives of the leaf motif on this door lever doesn’t suit your abode, another great favorite of mine is the Black Onyx Knurled Door Knob.
