Apprentice Wall Sticker Flock Decal

Wall Stickers are getting a lot of love lately. They are showing up everywhere from retail stores, to residential spaces.  Whether you keep them forever or opt for temporary flare, they really spice up the spaces they are in. Wall decals were featured in the design of the living quarters for NBC’s The Apprentice. Here is the Flock design in silver on a sumptuous plum painted wall.

Feather Wall sticker Decal Oprah Peter Walsh If you watched Oprah this week and watched the Clean Up Your Messy House Tour, you probably noticed the tiny but fabulous redecorated apartment in the East Village. Instead of busy artwork on the walls, the design team chose sleek black silhouette images from Blik Surface Graphics to keep it simple and stylish.  Above the bed they chose the Birds of a Feather graphic in midnite, and the Chandelier in black in the main area. The black is set off very nicely against the light sea foam green.

Monogram Wall Sticker Decal

There are so many images to choose from that would suit any taste. Go classic and select a large graphic in a nature or baroque motif, or customize your space with a oversized Monogram. If you are looking for something fun and whimsical, check out the RoCoco chalkboard, or the word puzzle decal.  Wall stickers are also a fantastic way to dress up the nursery or a kids room without having to commit to a crazy paint color on the wall. They can be customized too- so if you can imagine it- a stick-up can be made that would be perfect for you. Do you have a favorite recipe and a blank slate of a wall in your kitchen? -Why not pick a fun font and customize a pretty homage for warm apple crepes!

Zuber Woodblocked Wallpaper

Since 1797, Zuber, in France has been producing woodblock printed wallpapers using original XVII and XIX Century engraved woodblocks (they have more than 100,000).  Zuber Wallpaper is handmade and has such classic appeal.

They have an archive of 130,000 different papers, each phenomenal and one of a kind. The #40049 large damask print my favorite graphic.  You don’t need to travel to Paris to visit the showrooms, (they have two locations in the United States) however, you have to admit that it would be a nice trip.

COLE AND SON PASILEY wallpaper violetBlue is a such a relaxing color, especially a pale violet-hued blue like this large Indian-paisley wallpaper by Cole & Son. So how perfect is this color in a peaceful bedroom like this?! The Malabar wallpaper collection has a wonderfully detailed pattern.  The blue and lavender tones are emphasized with silvery blue Indian silk curtains and a custom headboard upholstered with blue fabric and white piping.

cole and Son Paisley Wallpaper VioletThe wallpaper was carried over to the ensuite, and I do love that it is only carried from the wainscoting and up, the white paint and plumbing fixtures give this bathroom a clean fresh look. This soft-on-the-eyes feature is from the April 2006 Style at Home.

Embossed Crocodile WallcoveringCan you think of a more sumptuous wallcovering than a crocodile patterned wallcovering in chocolate cognac? The super trendy and fabulous pattern that is crocodile graces this bedroom in a predatorily dominant way, what a punchy texture!  Since the embossed vinyl pattern is smaller, it does camouflage in the room nicely, adding a subtle city vibe.  The tumbled polyurethane produces great depth and reality, it can be used for wallcoverings or as upholstery, it is also fire rated. 54" wide.  If you like the look of Crocodile, check out Torley’s embossed leather floor tiles!
