From Belgium With Love

Brussels Belgium passage to Grand Palace

Exactly a year ago, I had the fantastic opportunity to visit Belgium. With so many cultures (Belgium has three official languages; Dutch, French and German), history and undeniable character it was overwhelmingly beautiful. Above is a picture I took of an ornate passage way we went through while walking from our hotel to the Grand-Palace in Brussels. I travelled with a group of buyers from Canada to see a few flooring manufacturers. It was quite apparent that the quality and pride Belgians have for their country is well reflected in their products. In the evenings they were our hosts, taking us to all the places we just had to see, giving us an intimate view of the cities like Brussels and Ghent from an insider.

Kids could order a Roy Rogers and a hambuger while you could dine on a schnitzel with lemon white wine sauce.

Roof Top Dining –Bangkok

vertigo bar and grill roof top

Writers imagine, dream and create fantastic stories riddled with so much imagery that you can almost taste, feel, breathe the atmosphere they have built.  Designers?-We are a blessed sort since we can actually build a tactile creation of our imagination, inspiration and collaboration and present it. The Vertigo Grill & Moon Bar is a fabulous example of a surreal creation where you can dine 61 floors above the busy streets of bustling Bangkok.  The rooftop stunner is sophisticated and brilliantly luminous, definitely a must see next time you are in this gorgeous city.
