I am a sucker for classic subway tiles, so this fun take on the beloved 2" x 6" wall tile couldn't be better! The St. Pettersburg tile collection available through Ann Sacks is a smooth limestone tile. The curved shape of the tile shows well on this rounded bathroom wall.
It can be installed with or without the 1/2" insert. The shadow effect on these tiles make this such an interesting tile that your investment in this gorgeous limestone will surely not be missed.
This bathroom featured the St. Petersburg basketweave tile with the 1/2" insert. If you are worried about the tile looking too busy; going only part way up the wall is a good option.

Surrounding yourself with relaxation can definitely be achieved in this new bath tub from Kohler. This new addition to the Kohler line is a fabulous overachiever in many ways, not only does the extreme streamline shape look gloriously liquid, but the things it can do! -Built with two sounds systems, the VibrAcoustic bath resonates below the water and the other system heard out of the water. A special dip in the neck of the tub allows you to lie down with your ears just below the water line. Your home spa is getting top grades.

Driving home from another late night at the office, all you feel like doing is slipping into a nice hot bath that is waiting for you at home. With the Smarthydro Tub, simply call from your cell phone to activate your tub to fill to your desired temperature, water level, LED lighting conditions, and more.
The aesthetics of the Smarthydro tub with curved glass sides and acrylic body makes it just as smart outside as it is inside. The tub can be activated by remote in home and online as well. |

Infinity pools appear to have no edge, just like the peak of a waterfall, and they have been dominating the backyards on the California coasts since O.C. aired it’s first glorious season, but why not carry this trend indoors? Overflowing tubs are filled to the rim and spill over to a trench below.
Kohler’s Sok overflowing bath with effervescence and chromatherapy (#K-1188-C1) is a great example of this spa-like bathing experience. The ultra-deep reservoir of the sok effervescent bath allows you to completely immerse yourself in the water as thousands of champagne-like bubbles emerge from eleven ports, gently caressing your body for a soothing bathing experience. This model features a continuous flow of water over four sides of basin for a relaxing visual and aural sensation, and chromatherapy lighting provides a full spectrum of color that washes over you. Another one of my favorites is the Kara by Neptune, it has a built in reservoir for the water and can be ordered with fun features like an I-Pod connector and built in sound system. You may need a bit of space for it however, the Kara is 77” by 43 ¾”, and you might have to leave room for a slab of granite as this unit can be under mounted as well! |

Bathing not in a tub but in a pool. The more water, the more space, the more depth the better. With its square corpus and round tub the Blue Moon whirlpool looks like a pool; and with its water depth of 530 mm it feels like one, too – despite occupying an area of just 140 x 140 cm. Immerse yourself in water with mood-setting colored lights. Bathing in a pool? Letting yourself go? Floating? Pure relaxation? It’s not easy to describe the feeling. Suffice to say that Blue Moon is a unique bathing experience.
