This clear contemporary occasional table is composed entirely of clear acrylic! It is meant to look like draped fabric, but sits on its own with each of the four corners lightly touching the floor as the "legs" of the table. The "Ice" model is an opaque white, but I like this clear model best. Wouldn't it look divine in a room with the Louis Ghost Chair? |

With a craze going around for white and black damask- I would like to introduce black on black damask, *swoon*. This elegant damask chest from Horchow is a beauty bombshell, packing style and drama. The two faux crystal knobs finish the chest nicely. The floral damask finish is my favorite part though, giving this furniture piece a surprising flare. Perfect for an entrance or as a buffet in a smaller dining room.

Ah Christmas, the most magical time of year, no doubt you have your tree up by now, hung with all sorts of vintage finds or glittering pretty little things. If you still need some ideas for holiday decor- why not take a cue from mother nature. You can hang these snowflake ornaments from a dining room chandelier at different heights for your next festive dinner.
The Christmas goose takes on a new festive role to add to your home; a goose feather wreath. So dramatic, and unique, they look fantastic strung from a series of windows; either singly, or sets of three are best.
I like to tuck a few jeweled birds into our tree each year, and plumes of feathers in matching colors lend a similar bird-haven feel. These lovely bird ornaments by Pottery Barn are so traditional in style, and their powder-glass enamel with polished finish are sure to catch a glimmer from your Christmas lights. |

Despite the recent rumblings of recession and showing conservative spending habits, lets' have a peak at the newly unveiled and luxurious-as-usual Christmas Book by Neiman Marcus!
At $145 each, these exclusively commissioned stemware pieces are like little gems sparkling in your choice of royal blue, or ruby red. Fredrich Egermann's fine crystal and 24-karat gold concoctions are handcrafted in Czech Republic.
Looking for a custom art piece with a little more pop than a typical 4-panel personalized Warhol? For $60,000, you can have your likeness (and full sized to boot) replicated in LEGO bricks by acclaimed artist Nathan Sawaya. Now you just have to decide where to put them in your home!
For the more frugal but tasteful gift-er, this pomegranate-inspired Nut Bowl by Michael Aram may be just the ticket. Stainless Steel constructs the bowl and leafy stem. For only $75, it can be yours.
The M-Velope is a transformable structure designed by Michael Jantzen. Each exterior panel is able to open and move at your touch. It is a green product as well! Made with new Accoya wood products and steel frame, you can use this 14' x 17' structure for a little getaway. $100,000. |
